don't get too excited, im sure the Z28 is going to come in at or over 4,000 lbs.

It looks like the consensus is:

1 - Better handling (probably includes a stiffer suspension)
2 - Supercharged V8 (HP bump)
3 - Styling change (possible 'real' hood scoop, larger spoiler)

4 - Less Weight (wasn't on the list but EVERYONE was thinking it)

I think all these are very feasable, along with a few more minor changes, like a sexy new Z/28 moniker. I can't wait to see how close we are to the real thing!

Zac Lee Right !

Thinking about the possibility makes me start to lust. That would be as close to perfection as is possible in the real world.

My Z28 wants include...

Performance,
Power to weight ratio to run down to 11.50 ET to keep it NHRA legal without a roll bar.
Suspension tuning, bushings and arms, to eliminate wheel hop and to dead hook with DR`s which will get it down to, but not faster than 11.50 (556 fwhp will get it there even at 3900)(((get it LSA)))
Larger, adjustable sway bars front and rear. (disconnect front bar for drag racing)
Ride height as low as factory legally possible.

Z28 specific hood and rear spoiler and wheels.

The rest of the options that are available already are fine, maybe HUD too.

CTS-V brakes would be cool too, but how high can the price go

Agreed the weight would be a factor! I know that in the busy place around here the 2SS that I have is plenty enough but when I move back to the sticks of Florida it will be game on! Bring the Z!
