clear bra

if you have a clear bra where did you get it and did you install it or body shop? I've seen prices from $60 to $300 on ebay. 3M being the more expensive. I want to get this added to front before I get any paint chips, they will really show on yellow.

also if you have it post some pics.

I did Avery Nano clear bra, full front clip, A pillars, first few inches of the roof line and the mirrors. Was under 1K, and I had a local installer do it. Best money I've spent on the car, well, other than sending it to Livernois.

I had mine done by ClearBraOhio.com ... the owner is Keith. He came to my house to put it on my car. It was more expensive than the price you mentioned because it is very labor intensive to install. It's been on my car for almost 2 years and still looks great.

Does this fade your paint over a period of time?

Heard this comment a million times... and still not funny.

NYJETSFAN, it will not fade the paint. In fact it will keep the paint pristine.

I think what you meant to ask was "will your paint fade evenly?" The answer is yes. Clear bras do not provide UV protection, therefore when you take it off, you shouldn't be able to tell that it was ever there.

I have a Venture Shield clear bra on mine. It's great. Best way to invest $600 in your Camaro (well, that's how much it cost me to get mine installed).

Wow, more like a boy's joke since it is childish. But hey, some people never grow up.
