continental tires good or bad?
I have looked evrywhere today for michelin 315's and no one has them as I know they are back ordered from reading here. There are alot of the continental extreme contact tires available and they have 10/32 tread depth. I have them priced at 320.00 apiece. Has anyone have these on there Z? I want to know if they are a good tire or not. Thanks

I had a set of the DW's on a JCW MINI Cooper and I would buy them again.

I have DWs on my 2001 z28 and like them.
Would consider them when my zl1 needs new shoes. Tony

Thanks you guys for weighing in on these tires that you have had them on other vehicles but I would like to know if someone has them on their Z and what they think of them.

I'm running the 275/35's up front and the 315/30's in back and I like them. Sticky. They have a little more sidewall flex than the Vredesteins that I was running before, but are a much more comfortable tire to ride because of it. They are on in the pic below. Good luck.

Are these tires good in cold weather? I am driving my Z today and it is like I am driving on ice. Very dangerous if you give it just a little to much throttle and it starts spinning real easy. I want these off of my car and I want to do it as soon as I can so I am trying to make a decision on these continental tires. I just do not want to buy some and they not be good all around tires.

Well I just ordered 2 tires for the rear in 315 size. I will get those on and I will update this thread when I get a few miles on them and let whoever might be interested how they perform.

Hi Big Time 53. I have had the Continental DWS All Season Tires for 2 years now. I love them. I run them 3 seasons then I put the GoodYear's on for the summer. I bought another set of polished ZL1 wheels off of Ebay for them. I run 275-35-20 on the fronts and 315-35-20 on the rears. They handle great, are quiet, and get great traction. You also don't get every piece of sand being thrown up under the car. When my car was stock, unlikt the Good Years, they were hard to spin. Now that I have 675 RWHP they spin pretty good in first gear but hardly spin in the other gears. When I bought them they were about $252.00 each. Now they have been discontinued and replaced with DWS-06 and they are about $300.00 each. Let us know what you think after you try them out but I think you are going to like them alot.
