8 rib conversion.

Will the innovators west 8 rib conversion hold 12 psi on my whipple without eating up belts to much. I get about 2500 miles on my 6 rib belts now. I won't ever go over 12 psi that's what I am running now with a 3.625 pulley.

I was running a 3.5 pulley on 8 ribs. Can't recall it ever ripping or needing replacement. I say you will be fine with it. I switch to 10 rib 3" pulley after that.

I would think so, I'm at 13lb on the 6 rib and have change the belt one time in 3 year's. That with 3.75 pulley on S/C

... Im also at 12 - 13 psi on a 6 rib. Never have shredded a belt yet. Sounds like something is not aligned correctly. I think most go to 8 rib due to slippage

2500 miles is ridiculously low. Something else is wrong, either belt tensioner is toast or an alignment issue. I've tried all kinds of crazy combinations of pulley sizes while working on our 10 rib kits that should be released fairly soon, and never had an issue even running 14 psi with 6 ribs, other than the slippage, belt lasted much longer than that.

Running a 8 rib on my tvs2300, 3.2" pulley, od cog on rear, 16-17psi, no indication of belt slip or major dusting.
