Polyurethane motor mounts!
Just finished the install on my new BMR polyurethane motor mounts and I'm very happy with them so far. Haven't gotten to drive the car yet but the install was pretty straight forward with only a few hiccups due to the instructions being slightly unclear. But they are built with great quality and look great.

Question??? How'd you raise the engine up ?? Did you raise it up by jacking up on the oil pan ??

Yes, I used my floor Jack and a piece of wood so there was a softer surface against the pan. only had to lift the engine slightly to maneuver them out. I did a front sway bar at the same time.

I don't know if you know but you will feel vibrations in the cabin which is normal with those type of mounts.

They're not solid, and yes.

Will do! I'm looking forward to less moment of the engine and the better throttle response. I know they are not solid, that's why I said polyurethane.

Let us know. I know on my 4cyl neon they were brutal, maybe they'll be bearable on an 8 cylinder.

I have the Prothane polyurethane mounts. They definitely add some NVH. They are not too bad, but noticeable.

Will do, from what I've heard its more noticeable at first, but then you get used to it and the break in a little bit. But I'll definitely keep this updated.

I know you said you weren't concerned with it, but hopefully the NVH isn't horrible, but I have a feeling it will be quite noticeable.

I'm sure it will be noticeable, but worse case scenario I'll buy some stock ones and replace them, they weren't too hard to do luckily. probably an hour to install both. Thanks for the concern, like I said, once I get the car out I'll update this to how they are.

LOL...I had a '74 Olds Cutlass with a self built 10.5 to1 .030 455, cam, headers, reverse manual valve body t-400(also self built) connect to a 9in detroit locker with 3.55(also self built)..everything had solid mounts except trans mount which was poly...of course there was NVH...why else would you do this kind of a mod in the first place?
I want to know if the mounts change the engine position at all from factory? any NVH IMHO with this mod is a plus because it is one more direct connection between you and the car....peace out
