Camaro ss engine cover mod!

been looking around for coil pack covers for quite sometime and just didnt want to pay for whats available, so i decided since im never going to use the factory piece anymore, why not hack it up!
Simply scored the indention over and over with a razor blade until plastic seperated for a nice clean cut. Fit check for new mounting points, then strategically placed zip ties! Keeps the nice look of the ls intake , but covers up coil packs! , added a ls3 decal to the intake as well, turned out pretty clean IMO

I like what you did and had thought about doing something similar with mine. You mention fit check for new mounting points. What did you mind up using for the new mounting points?

I ended up using black zip ties and drilling small hole at certain areas on the covers, i ziptied around the fuel rail mainly. So far no issues at all, theres really many diff ways you could do it, this is how i did, zip ties make it easy whenever i need to remove them.

A very clean and professional job! I was going to say it really looks factory but I believe it's actually better!
