Saw your one Hall of Fame car for sale on eBay for $240k. Is that one of them? Do you realistically expect that in 1 year the value has been multiplied 5 times or are you just trying to gather interest in it? They are great looking cars but that price is $100k more than a properly restored numbers matching 69 COPO car.

I have been in the same situation.. took a very very nice 99 T/A convertible of my wife's to a show. Everyone was around the car next to me. The car is what it is and attracts attention anywhere it goes. BTW.. the #8 is worth more than that. I reckon I was just lucky. Profit is to be made and the only question is... How much?
Great car none the less - I really liked the way they looked when they were introduced and I am sure that paint scheme draws attention everywhere it goes.

On the other hand - were these cars built by GM as the Hall of Fame cars or were they customized by the dealer? If they were customized by the dealer that will significantly decrease the appreciation rate. When the 2010 Camaro was introduced countless companies have stepped forward and created limited edition Camaros and history has proven that it does virtually nothing to increase the value of the car. Granted 20+ years from now that may not be the case but in today's market I think you are being overly optimistic thinking the car is appreciating. I dont know what company has issued you appraisals for those cars but I would seriously question thier ability to properly assess a vehicles value if they have given you those values as the cars stand today.

Either way - enjoy the cars. They are a special car and I love to see anyone that treats them as such.

I got mine may 13 2009is and it has 12000 miles on it. I live in a small town with virtually nothing to do so I only drive it out of town. If I lived in a major city it would have far less miles on it im sure. But I've enjoyed every single one!

March 2010 and just over 15,00 hard miles on her. Not bad for a non-daily driver, the Camaro Fest didn't help with 1500 fun and wild miles round trip.
