Smile Removing Chevy Emblem from the back of my 2LT

Hey guys. Just got my Camaro 2 days ago, and really want to remove the Back Chevy emblem. Can anyone please tell me step by step on how to do it? it seems like their are plugs or something holding it in their.

Thanks

If it is done with adhesive, which most are today, you run a piece of DENTAL FLOSS behind the emblem then remove the residue with Goo-Gone. Simple, Fast, and Cheap. You may need to make a handle up to anchor he dental floss to so you can get some leverage.

There are two holes in your trunklid that will need to be filled once you remove the emblem. There's a picture of it around here somewhere...

Take a look at this thread. The car is shown with the bow tie removed and there are two holes, i am guessing for mounting.

So, you can take it off, but how will you fill the holes?

Let a pro body shop fill the holes up.

just wait until aftermarket companies start making replacement trunks and hoods. it'll be a bit of money, but you'll more than likely be able to get carbon fiber.

A body shop can take it off, but yes there are holes.
