New wheels and tires

I decided to ditch the factory 20" run flats in favor of 19's. My car has MRC and I'm not interested in lowering it so I went with the following combo:

Fronts are Sportline 8S gun metal gray 19x9 et25 with Michelin pilot super sport 275/40/19's.

Rears are Sportline 8s gun metal gray 19x10 et35 with Michelin pilot super sport 285/40/19's.

I'm very happy with the look, the ride, everything came out just as I had hoped. The ride is much better, traction better, looks better IMO. I attached a few pictures from a quick cruise out last night after I got them installed.

Car color is sweet but the rims just don't do it for me snowflake hahaha

Nice looking ride! Don't listen to him. I like the look!

I'm looking at wheels right now too. I think I am going to stick with 20's and go with the Z28 style wheels. I can't decide between black and gun metal. The black are so hard to see at distance. I might go with something a bit lighter so I can see them at a distance.

Looks good!
I was thinking of doing the same.
Why did you decide on 19s over the 20s?

New wheels look awesome!!!

Dude whatever happened to prototyping a sort of deflector for the fogging issue? Had a meet up last night with some other Camaro owners and your name was brought up.

I wanted 19's for a few reasons. Wasn't a fan of the 20" run flats & stock wheels, wanted a wider and taller sidewall tire, felt I was riding on electrical tape spread open for tires on the 20" run flats, wanted better traction, the rims I chose along with tires ultimately were what I was looking for. I'm very happy with the combo.

Thanks! Let me know where the next meet is at and I'll meet you there.

I took a new job further away from home and idk if you know how demanding a new job can be but it has been to say the least. However my machinist buddy called me 2 weeks ago and asked are we still on to come up with a solution in which we are. FYI I've discovered other issues with the fogging unrelated to the HVAC system. Also being winter time and lower humidity I haven't encountered the fogging as bad when I've driven my car but then again I don't drive my car often. Just clicked 3500 today after owning it almost 10 months.
