LSR Performance Intake = BIG POWER!!

We had the chance today to test the ALL NEW LSR Performance cold air kit on a 2010 Camaro SS (6spd M). After putting the ECU back to stock, pulling the fuse (for those who think its necessary) we made 3 back to back stock runs.

I am pleased to announce our initial testing is done with the LSR Performance cold air kit. Peak gains of 36rwhp and 39rwtq over stock and mid range gains of 48rwtq and 42rwhp.

I have attached a dyno chart that shows stock numbers .vs. tune only .vs. LSR Performance Intake and tune

We are not sure when these will be released to the public but we will have TONS on the shelf ready to ship out and will combine them with our V3.0 custom mail order tunes for unbeatable gains.

Once you see the picures and quality of this intake you will all be happy. It had the most laminar airflow out of any intake we have tested and has made the most HP and TQ.

What happened at 4k on the stock pull when the power dropped off? Thats the first dyno pull I have seen like that and it doesn't look healthy.

Every single 6spd M car we have had on the dyno has the same power curve. There was only a few degrees of spark retarded cause by temperature and and "knock retard". We have found that the additional load on the car when using a loaded dyno will show these results (additional heat and load causing some "knock"). These are real world conditions

Just look at the gains over the tuned run that does not have the big dip. The gains are HUGE with this intake. I have no interest in this company, I do not benefit from making this post. We pride ourselves on testing everything we sell and offering the best parts to our customers

So in what way does your tune get rid of the knock if your still running the same fuel and intake as we see with the green graph?

This is our performance calibration that incorporates remapped fuel, spark, and knock sensor values, among other things. I am not at liberty to share all of the values and processes involved.

I am waiting to hear back from LSR about the intake pricing and I am also waiting for production pictures.

It looks great, has a nice heat shield design, and offers very smooth airflow. A tune is 110% required. We will be offering the intakes as a package with our custom tuned SCT Xcalibrator

Again NOTHING near Chicago. All the good shops are in warm states.

Does seem to be too good, and that is usually the case.
