I posted the 45th Build counts - and I have reason to believe that they're incorrect.

I've been requesting reports - I got one report that's well over 100 pages long -- I've spent about 6 hours on it and can safely say:

1. Holy Cow, that's a lot of paper

2. Wow - do we have a ton of engineering codes or what??

3. Either my abbacus is broken or the reports may be wrong.

.....so - EVENTUALLY I will post build counts.

I'll break down:

>ZL1
>45th
>Transformers
>Synergy
>Color counts
>option counts

...we can't go much beyond that.....

BUT - I have lots of other stuff that needs my attention right now - so please - don't PM me. (I love to hear from you - but the box keeps filling....)

When I DO get them straightened out - you'll find 'em RIGHT HERE on this site - and I'll ask the Mods to put it up on the Front Page so people can know that they're here..........

Now - lemme go find my magnifiers -- (...awful to get old........)
Thanks scott

You guys scott doesnt have to do the stuff he does, but you know what thank him, when he does this stuff

the problem is that we're not flush in people these days - like any other business, we have pared down to the bone....and frankly, many of us are working 6 and 7 days a week. It's a matter of priorities. We're working on bringing you amazing products - that's what's most important.

The numbers are in the Camaro white book for 2010. That said, I don't know when we built the first white 2010 -- and I'm not sure anyone does unless they run the VINS manually and search for the first white one -- and even if we do that - it still doesn't tell you how many we built between the first one and yours.

Again - it's not a case of where we don't care - if that were the case, I would not be on this site.

PS - If you have it in electronic format, I bet I could figure out how to run statistics software against it and get the total counts even easier.
scott same here, if you need help I have evenings & weekends off, you can ship this stuff via email to me & I can work on some of them for you.

That makes things easy for you to come in July.

To everyone.....

I do agree that having this information is important - esp because I want to see Mike Antonick continue on with the Camaro White Book (and the Corvette Black Book) -

....plus it's nice to know volumes and to see how many of our 'special editions' were built........

I appreciate the effort. I think what you may want look at is a database system where all this info should be housed and able to be queried at anytime. It's shows how behind certain industries are in the computer age.

Scott, if GM was concerned about delivering amazing products,We would not be experiencing convertible top problems.Ie broken 5th bows, floods in backseat(water management bag problems) etc.
My convertible is going back in for it's 3rd roof related repair (after winter hibernation),so basically 3rd major top related repair in 2 summers use...and I only have about 4500 miles on it.

IMO, GM should stand behind their products and automatically be extending the warranty for anyone that has experienced major top problems. That would really go along way in restoring peoples faith in GM.

and a big thank you to you,for taking the time for compiling the #'s.
