22inch Tires

I tried a quick search for this but didn't come up with much.

I'm debating between 20 and 22 inch wheels, and what I'm running into is a lack of 22inch tire availability. The only tire I can find on Discount Tire or Tire Rack is the Pirelli which is like $300+ per tire (315x25x22). I really don't think I want to get into paying that much money just for tires. I like the looks of some 22s but I'm thinking I'll have to go with 20s unless anybody has found anything else in that size in the $200 range.

Thanks.

Won't happen. only two companies make a 315 for 22" wheels. Yokohama makes an SUv tire in a 315/30/22, or you have the Pirelli pzero nero with a 315/25/22.

Either way, you're going with a Pirelli 265/30/22 for the front. With 20's have a LOT more options.

I'm in the same boat. I'd run Nitto Invo 315's on 20's but I'm getting 22" wheels, so there's nly one company that makes the tires I need, Pirelli.

Mindz is correct. But, another problem is that all of the 315 tires (20's and 22's) seem to be on national backorder. Its been 2 months now for the 315-22's. So, if you do find the tires you want, it would be a good idea to buy those ASAP.
