I was also blown away when the Camaro concept first came out and was very happy when they built the car nearly identical to it.
That's funny, as it was also my little girl that needed a place to sit.

That's another reason I swayed towards the 6cylinder. It is lighter and still kinda quick.

There’s no way they are going to leave the roof line so low, with the gun slit windows and proportions. Obviously, I was wrong.

I’m coming for the world of Corvettes. I’ve had a C3, 2 C4 LT4’s, C5 and a C6, but I now need more than two seats. My first choice was the Camaro.

I’ve owned my 2SS/RS for three weeks now, and I have some observations. It’s huge and heavy! The hood is so tall it’s hard to discern where the curbs are when turning. It’s hard the see out of and the blind spots are awful.

My conclusions; despite its size and weight, I find that it handles well; the LS3 does a great job compensating for the weight. I wouldn’t change a thing with the outward visibility, as the car would lose the aesthetic, and aggressive, appeal. I love the way this car looks, and the roof line and small windows are a huge contributing factor to that; in my opinion. I’ll give up some convenience and ergonomics for great looks any day.

Thank you Chevy for having the courage to hold true to the concept!
That's all good , but , You should know that by now .

Haha still have to get used to blind spots at times. After a while you get a hang of them and the car becomes a lot of fun to drive. After 2 years I still love my camaro

I've had mine for 4 months now and am loving it. unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I've been bitten by the mod bug and just can't stop! It's way more fun to have a car that you can actually interact and grow with unlike so many beige vehicles out there.

Other than that, I'm happy !
Should have left the 3rd brake light here too...

actually it's not! There were some who wanted to make it higher, but it ruined the look - so it's within a mm or two of the concept! (the greenhouse, that is...)

I traded a 2010 Honda Accord for my 2SS and I don't regret a moment of it.

It does feel a bit big compared to my recently owned cars, but it's great to have the V8 after a turbo 6 and a turbo 4.
