I'm sorry, I have to comment again. That is just so messed up. I went through a total loss house fire once. We didn't lose any humans. But there were three cats inside. One made it out. But do you think anyone was sitting there wondering about their damn wallet. Hell no. You're glad all the people made it out, and then you worry about the four leggeds that are missing. You don't care about the possessions, at first. Later it hits you that things like pictures and items that were given by family members are lost.

But there is something very wrong with that woman.

Have you ever heard of the dog Hachiko? They adapted a movie about him called "Hachiko - Hachi, a Dog's tale" but changed the location. Good movie and a great story.

I remember posting about this some time ago, but it definitely hits the FEELS:

One day a son tells his father:
-Papa, do you want to run a marathon with me?
- And the father said yes.
They run their first marathon together.
Another time, the son asks:
-Papa, do you still want to run a marathon with me?
- And the father says yes, my son
One day, the son asks his father:
-Papa, do you want to run the Ironman?
The Ironman triathlon is the most difficult:
to swim 4km, bike for 180 km and to run 42 km
And dad says yes

I dare say the dad carrying his sun the whole way of the Iron Man is the greatest Iron Man ever, I don't care what kind of time he did it in. More of man than me.

This is a little different, but it kind of gets me. I guess it's the pride and appreciation I have for the men and women in the uniformed services.

Which also reminds me(and hits me in the gut a little). Shortly after the 9/11 attacks, I saw the coolest bumper sticker of all time. It said...

"U.S. Special Forces-When You Care Enough to Send the Very Best."

Ugh. This song.

I hate thinking about it but my dad isn't getting any younger. And I know one day that's going to be me.

Unhappy

Oh wow...that song definitely does hit the feels pretty hard

There are definitely songs that hit the feels very well. For me, it would have to be the following one, which is the story of two distant lovers. I'll post the lyrics after the video:

My love is like footsteps in the snow, baby,
I follow you everywhere you go, baby.
The pain as light has come to wake you
But you will never realize
That I inspire the dreams that guide you baby.

I follow the winds that bring the cold, baby,
I light a fire in your soul, baby.
The lightest touch of feathers falling
My love may be invisible
But I inspire the dreams that guide you, baby

You're a half a world away
But in my mind I whisper every single word you say.
And before you sleep at night
You pray to me, your lucky star, your singing satellite.
(x3)
