Good job John! I'm NOT mechanically inclined at all, but glad you were able to get this done!

The Jannetty tune makes all the difference, especially to an L99. He adjusts the torque management and shift points along with getting rid of AFM. It is a whole new car with the tune...with or without headers! Hope you're having fun!

Now when he sends my tune will I have to do the datalogging? Like put the computer in my car and drive 1\4 speed and send it to him? Or will he just send what I need? To upload to the car?

Since you just have headers I've heard he mostly nails the tune on the first time since he has done so many so no data logging required. Only have to data log if he requests and if you have major upgrades such as blowers, cams, ect.

*wheew*... Thanks for the info. Lol if it was 10k just to get running again might as well go for an LSX!!

Nice!! Are you doing it yourself? Where'd you get the lift?

Edit: just got through the thread, nice job!! I had no idea you could do the headers with roll-up ramps like that!

Mine was about a 5k mistake. Even though mine was fixed under warranty.... i think it started the inevitable failing of my cam causing my motor to be rebuilt.

Call Road Atlanta for the tickets when ready, and let them know you are with the Camaro Corral.

I didn't know we had to call to get tickets. Will do soon
