1978 Camaro LT Front change
Hi all, i am new here, i live in Adelaide and am looking at buying a Camaro, i really like the 67 to 69 but i only have 20k to spend, i have come across a 78 LT that looks realy good and seems to be in good condition and is around my price, the biggest issue here in SA is having something registered, so it puts a lot of interstate and over seas cars out of the picture.
Any way i have a question, is it possible to change the front of a 78 camaro > for a 67-69 camaro, would it be a case of bolt off and bolt on or is there > to much difference in bodies. > > I know its way out there but just asking. Cheers Yoda 1 |

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the 67-69 and the 2nd gen(70's) Camaro are 2 completely different cars. They don't share sheet metal, interior, really anything. For 20K you could find a decent driver quality 67-69. It won't be a show car but pick up a nice solid car and work on it as the money allows. It will be worth alot more down the road than a 78.
