Any surprises? Any "I knew it!" picks?

Not happy with the Ravens going with Mosley, as he is not a position of need and we just dropped a 2nd rounder on an ILB last draft. Plus, Bama ILBs always seem to be hyped and don't turn into impact players. Look at Rolando McLain and Hightower.
Meanwhile, we have a huge gaping hole at FS - currently filled by a Rams castoff (so you know he must be awful) and we passed on Clinton-Dix, rated by many to be the top safety in the draft and even by some as a top-10 pick. Biggest surprise has to be Deone Buccanon, a potential third rounder going to the Cards. Ford was a reach for the Chiefs, and at a position they are pretty stacked at as well. I think the Patriots picking Easley wasn't a surprise, but was in the sense that they did it in the first round. The Pats have a connection with Gainesville, and Easley is a huge talent, but he missed most of his senior season due to injury and many saw him as a 2nd. |

I would to know what the Lions was thinking when they took Eric Ebron te. They neede a WR CB safety OLB. Before a TE. My grade is a C for the first round pick.

I was driving though Illinois and for some reason I was getting a Cleveland station during the first 12 picks. Listening to the Browns fans go WTF to their first pick was interesting.
It was actually quite amusing...and sad....like they had been through this before.

Honestly, Ebron is basically a WR. They have megatron and golden Tate as their 1 and 2.

I wish that would have drafted a CB with the 10 pick. The Loins might have been able to get Ebron with their 2 round pick. Ebron might have made to the 2 round.

I felt that the ravens could use clinton-dix more than Mosley as well but I will say that McClain is a talented defensive player, just doesn't have the professional mind set yet.

Yeah...the "experts" gave us an "F" grade for our 2012 draft too...
Frankly, the hoopla surrounding the draft is overblown. As Don Le Betard said...they are ALL LIARS. Liars telling liars who they will pick. No one really knows anything about how the draft went until about 2 years from now.

I guess hoping for an exciting free agent period & draft was pushing my luck with a Belichick team.

Good luck blocking the Texans front 7 this season. Nix, Watt, Clowney, Mercilus and Cushing. Sadly, our offense shouldn't be very hard to stop.
