If not for bad luck I'd have none.....

I ordered my car in Dec and after waiting 8 months it fainally arrived.

Picked up my 2ss Blk on Blk with white rallys on Wed Aug 20/09 at 5pm. Decided to take it to work on Sat Aug 23rd may not have been the best decision I have ever made. I parked in an out of the way spot with a concrete barrier on my rh side and lots of room on my left. I installed my club and headed to work when I looked back I noticed an old Grand Am park to the left of my new SS. The gentleman driving the Grand Am parked leaving lots of room between my car and his, the passenger was being very careful not to hit my car when opening there door. About 3/4 of the way through my shift I recieved a call on my radio to let me know that my car had been damaged by a sign that had fallen on it. I disregarded the call thinking that my work mates were just pulling my chain, I continued to recieve calls and repeatedly brushed them off as the boys just joking around. At about 4:30 that afternoon one of the boys walked up and showed me pictures he had taken with his cell phone that showed my car with a sign leaning against the passenger front quarter panel and showing the dents in the panel. To make a long story short the wind had blown over a No Parking sign that was facing the other side of the concrete barrier, the sign hit the side of my car. The gentleman that took the pictures left the sign where it was and went to find me, while doing this the sign was blown over and slid down the side of the car scratching the panel, mirror and door as well a denting the door. After an investigation was done by our company security I took the car to the local GM Dealers body shop and had an estimate done, $1800.00 Damage.

Car is at body shop now and is waiting in the quarter panel emblems.

Here's some pictures, excuse the dirty car as they are doing road construction on my street very dusty and it had just rained.

Yeah it sucked big time but the company I work for is taking care of the damage.

$1800.00 because I did not want repaired parts I wanted all damaged parts replaced.
