I've more or less mapped the route but the million dollar highway wont be on it... It's close, but I'll pass it, I've already been on it with Brandi when Debbie and I were coming back from Gillette Wy. You're very correct, it is a beautiful drive... My trip up to Oregon will be the quickest route since I'll be by myself and have so far to go... It's 2150 miles so I'll probably break it up into 2.5 days of driving...

You'll still be in some gorgeous country... At that pace I would recommend a bird dog and C.B.

You will have a great drive and I bet you will surprise a few people along the way...

Gallup, SLC, Boise?

Do you have an iphone? There's an app I use that shows fuel prices at Love's Stops all over the country, diesel and gas.... pretty cool stuff. What octane do you need to run? (gas buddy app looks promising too)

I know SLC is in the route... I'll have to look and post up the major cities and stops along the way.... I don't have an Iphone but I have an Ipad with 3G wireless capability....

What is the name of the app.... I'll also be toting some Octane Boost with me for those areas where you cant even get 91 octane... Only running 12 degrees total timing helps though... This is still part off the conservative build tune...

The app is called "Love's" ... if a search finds more than one, it's the free truckstop guide, they also advertise their gas prices but not octane level.

I'm off Sept 25 to 29 and then Oct 4 to 8, but..............could be in Vegas racing 7 to 9 back in the early evening of the 10th. Then off Oct 13 to17. The Vegas race hinges on the Big Guy's foot be strong enough to hold the clutch pedal to the floor. We have the Willy's Pro Mod sitting at Kirk Kuhns shop in LongBeach ready to rock.

I'll see what goes on with my knee... If it's progressing well, I may be able to make the 25th to 29th time frame... I'll let you know asap... Let me know when you find out something about the Big Guy...
