Warranty Question and Oil Temp Gauge Question!
2 questions Help Please
first off, what general modifications can i do to my camaro 2lt Rs 2011, without voiding my warranty, should i just call and ask? (if u know some on top of the head please post!, like obv brakes don't matter but does the exhaust? cold air intake? etc... all support is appreciated!) secondly, lately my oil temp gauge has been reading between 200 and second to last line! sometimes even gets right on the line of the 2nd to last line (pass the 200) during driving on highway/road and even idle! (obv the temp outside makes some sort of difference but it's like this even when it rains or it's cool outside) Please help if you can! ~Appreciated~ |

Some aftermarket engine performance products and modifications promise a way to increase the horsepower and torque levels of a vehicle's powertrain. The products may have detrimental effects on the performance and life of the engine, exhaust, emission system, transmission, and drivetrain. Engine power enhancement products may enable the engine to operate at horsepower and torque levels that could damage, create failure, or reduce the life of the engine, engine emission system, transmission and drivetrain. Damage, failure, or reduced life of the engine, transmission emission system, drivetrain or other vehicle components caused by aftermarket engine performance enhancement products or modifications cannot be covered under the vehicle warranty or GMPP plan. I hope this cleared the air for you. Brandon Chevrolet Customer Service
