Who here has NEVER driven the V-6?
I’m sure I’m not the only one but I’m curious about how many others are like me. When I drove my first Camaro it was a 1SS, after that I drove the 2SS and was hooked on the options it came with. Then I saw a 2SS w/ the RS Package and I knew I was doomed. I drove both the A6 and the M6, and ended up landing on the A6.
So just curious- how many of you have never turned the key on the V-6? |

I have driven both. The V6 was never an option for me personally, but I drove it as a test drive to get the feel of the new Camaro. When I ordered my car, there were no cars available to test drive, so I rented one from AVIS, and at the time they only had LS models. Like I said, the V6 was never an option for me, but I was VERY impressed at the way the car drove, handled and felt. I don't think anyone has TOLD IT that it only has 6 cylinders. LOL

I have owned both... I drove the V6 for about 6 months and the bought V8 recently... I love the power on the V8, one thing I will say is "you feel the power all the time" on the V8. That being said the V6 at 80 mph on the interstate had this "smooth floating" feeling. The V8 drives well but you still feel all the power. That being said I had never owned or driven a powerful car before, so it may take sometime to adjust for that power and not over-steer. But nothing feels like the feeling of being pressed up against the seat when starting from a full stop.
