Anyone who says you can't have fun with the V6 camaro is an idiot

Alright, listen...I have to set the record straight here. For anyone who comes through wondering if they should buy a camaro. We are all camaro owners.

i get it, V8 is the older brother - the beast. The Camaro V6 (5th gen and over) have, or will have fantastic horsepower, and put plenty of power to the wheels. If you want to spend the money for the V8, thats your call. I have the 6 right now and you can bet your ass my next one will be 8, but thats not to say you can't have a hell of a time in the 6. Im seeing people complain that you can't have fun in the 6... honestly i think you just don't know how to drive. Take off STB TRK, TC, ect. and drop the thing into standard (if auto), and you can have some fun. Learn how to drive it correctly, and it is aggressive, and fun. Don't even come at me with the "have you ever driven the 8" bs, because Ive been ripping around in my cousin's ZL1 of late, and its a hell of a time, undeniably (raced the ZL1 with his GTR). This isn't to take away from the 8s, but rather, to say that they are the best of the best. The 6 is a top of the line engine for its class, the awesome track ability, and the unmatched looks of the camaro body style make the V6 option a fantastic car, and a great camaro. Make no mistake, the v6 if a beast in its own playground, just as its big brother is in its class. As a 20 year old who bought his first camaro on his own in the V6, i can honestly tell you, Buy with confidence; and any real car guy will respect your car regardless of engine. Camaro V6- beast of the 6's Camaro V8- Beast of the 8's.

hahah i guess you can have fun in any car.. my point is that even the v6 is pushing 315 horses without any bolt ons which makes having fun a lot easier than most vehicles. My supercharger is is putting me in the seat pretty well, maybe that alters my experience, but i hold my case. A 6 will never be an 8, but that doesn't mean it can't be aggressive.

On a side note, i put an SS in a body bag last night with my 6 supercharged.

I drive a 2015 Ford Interceptor for a living. Its 305 hp V6 AWD......and its a freaking blast to drive! I'm an old fart....raised on V8's. But as technology improves, V6 and 4 bangers are much more impressive than their predecessors. Its just hard to break old habits.

... and supercharging that V6 to "body bag" that SS cost you how much?
