First Camaro was a new 1978 Z28 and I was 19. Second one a 2SS/RS and I am 53. Other things in life became more important such as family, house, and saving for the future and sports cars were an afterthought.
Now, 5 kids later (3 mine and 2 step kids) the youngest is 16, two still in college, and two college graduates there was light at the end of the tunnel.
