Driving with codes p1153 and p1133 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Okay i got these dreaded codes on a recent header install i don't plan on tuning the car until next year will driving with these codes on hurt my car also i plan on buying a scanner to delete these 2 codes when they come up but again my major concern is will i hurt my car with driving with these codes on for to long of a time

You can not run this combination without a tune, your leaving a lot of performance on the table and you have a check engine light that will be on all the time, So if something else goes wrong you wont' know whether it is the header codes or something more serious, that could possibly damage something.

The 1133-53 codes will not harm anything.
