That's not exactly 2 mpg worse than stock. Brian has 4.10's so he isn't exactly getting stock gas mileage.
I got 25 mpg when I drove to AZ when I just had intake, exhaust and tune. Then I got 22 mpg on the same trip after putting in the Vortech S/C. Then this winter on the same trip I got 20 mpg after adding the cam.

The Shot is from my Friends Red SS. You'll see me pass him about 1/2 way through the video, and a nice little power slide out of the corner.... Only mods I had were 4.10 gears, slicks, headers and a Cold Air Intake back in 2001 before I got crazy on my car.. At the time though it was enough to get 6th fastest car in the time trial run, and 118mph along the back straight, ran the hell out of my car Fun times...

And on the last trip back to Colorado you got the most incredible milage.
Actually used zero gas and if you were smart enough probably could have added some gas from Les's trailer somewhere. Bahahahahaa
Always the better... But Don remember you are running those undersized 65 lb injectors still.

I calculated 21.5 MPG from Chandler to Longmont cruising at 83 and blowing by all semis and trailers to stay away from debri likelyhood. Car showed something like 25ish. I haven't seen real mileage match the display ever - always a little lower even when stock.

He was using less then one gallon more then the stock cars, I was not using mine as an example, I was keeping track of what everyones gas lol

Larry, you should join me in Iowa..... we should be able to find an E85 tanker around here somewhere! You can store it at High Plains - or even better, get a driver to follow you!

You're right Larry. I used just 15 gallons of diesel fuel to go to Les' house and bring the trailer down to town and then run the trailer back to his house.
So, 950 miles divided by 15 gallons= 63.3 miles to the gallon. Beat that everyone!! Heck, I could get by with 5 lb injectors with that kind of mileage.
