How do u remove the center dash vents

How hard is it to remove the center dash vents? Dropped something in the vent and it went to never never land.

obviously it was somethinjg small.......hopefully its matelic....and hopefully carbon steel.....so you could fish it out with a magnet.

get a small magnet and attach it to a wire and feed the wire down the vent.

The center rectangular vent in the dash cannot be removed without taking apart the whole dash. Now if it was one of the two circular vents on the side, then I could walk your through it.

That is what I was afraid of.

It was one of the 2 pins that allow a gps to be mounted to the vent.

Order another vent holder on eBay for a few bucks to get those clips.. and forget about it.. they go for 3 & 4 bucks often!
