BC Racing ER coilover height setup question

Wondering what measurements people used to get X" drop. I only want about 1/2" drop to maintain clearance. Hoping I can get close the first time so I don't have to assemble/disassemble the things 10 times.

Also any other install tips? I've heard their directions suck. Starting the job on Friday. I'll start researching bound/rebound settings as well or I may just start with 16 for bound and rebound and adjust from there.

Car setup:
Stock wheel/tires are on the car until they die.
Pfadt sways, trailing arms, toe rods.
Pedders radius rod full bush and cradle/diff bushes.
Car will be used in road racing and autocross.
Comfortable settings are for sissies.
Corner balance and alignment is scheduled in 1.5 weeks.

I'll just call BC tomorrow if I have to. But I was hoping some people could share their experiences. I searched for an hour on here and everyone thats bought these or the pedders supercars seem to have paid a shop to do the install. So sad.

I don't have the tools or time to tackle a task such as that. And at my age I really don't feel like it.

Good luck with your install.

Good thread, I'll have to see if the ER and BR bodies differ a lot when I get them but I'll give it a shot.

I'm old and broken too but this is my therapy, took time off from work to tackle it. And I'm always looking for an excuse to buy new tools.
