You guys realize this is in Canada right???? The price difference for what we pay for these cars is insane compared to the US +/- $20k. They start at over $32k and go up from there! The SS's start around $42K
The dealer I bought my car right now has a 2013 2SS listed at $86k, a 2012 2SS listed at $69k and a 2013 2SS listed at $52k, another dealer has 1 2013 2SS listed at $51k. |

Sounds like 36 was more than enough.
How many of them you guys got in the US if we only got 36? The dealer here told me 36 in Canada, they weren't sure about the US though. That's amazing to hear your dealer still has 8 of them, those are crazy numbers for one edition!
us total production 1284= 974 coupes 310 convertibles canada ======== 36 == 32 coupes 4 convertibles mexico========= 96 == coupes export========= 108 total hot wheels production 1524 i bought my hot wheels car because i liked it the minute i saw a picture of it . my wife made sure i did not go and look at one in florida because she knew what would happen. when gm canada came out with 0% fin it made me look at a new car, not that i needed it as it is not an daily driver and considering i was on strike at the time.i did wanted a car that not everyone else has. considered a zl1 but for me the hot wheels one won over . i looked at a new corvette in 2012 in florida 1ls for 35,000, that car in canada would be 55 to 60,000 in canada. i thought it was a mistake dealer showed me invoice.so in canada we end up paying more for these cars . courtesy's prices as long as i have know them were on the high side. that 6spd hot wheels car is one of 354 world wide. got mine at end of june and love it Last edited by 70rsz28; 11-19-2013 at 08:10 PM. Know where there's a Hot Wheels convertible too and it's still for sale. Mexico got some too? How come Canada only got 36 of these? Last edited by MsGreen; 11-20-2013 at 10:49 AM. |

I guess distribution could have been made according to previous Special edition Camaro sales.

i think some canadian dealers would agree with that also, i am sure they would have liked to have more to sell also. i believe that some dealers will import from usa to sell here .

I just thought of something. I didn't look at the window stickers so some of theirs could have been dealer trades. Next time I go by I may stop in and see.
