Camaro all metric?

Anyone know if the Camaro 2010 will be all metric? I hate to think about buying new tools.

Sure hope so. I can't stand the fact that we aren't more metric yet. Our system of everything (not just tools) is so archaic and inefficient.

just about all new cars are nowadays. i can't imagine why the Camaro wouldn't be... especially considering most of it was developed in Aussieland & it's gonna be sold across the other pond in Europe & the Middle East, too.

Weren't we supposed to convert to metric decades ago? I remember being told that when I was a kid that there was a plan to convert in so many years. I don't think people want to give up what they already know.

Having a minor case of CDO (OCD, but spelled alphabetically like it should be) I really want to be on a system where everything is related in multiples of 10.

It's actually interesting how the blend came about.

I forget why, but there was a big push to go all metric, and halfway through, they said f it.

So we get half and half.

Is the Aussie G8 all metric?

mine's a 99 NBS & after popping the hood, that junk's a mess!

fan shroud bolts = 10mm
alternator bolts = 15mm
fender bolts and tailgate handle bolts = 1/2 in
oil drain plug = 5/8 in

good thing i've got a set of both
