i need an engine harness
i know i'm looking for a needle in a haystack, but i really don't want to have to hack up a harness & pray it works.
i need the engine wiring harness for a 99-02 GM 4.8 with a 5 speed manual transmission and manual 4x4 transfer case. any leads or suggestions will be a great help. thanks!

Have you tried salvage yards?
Why do you need a harness... had a 6-banger in it? Do you have ECM? [edit] just noticed the date...still looking?

Yea salvage is only place your gonna find it. Just inspect it for fire or water damage otherwise should be fine.

yep, 4.3 - great motor, just not really enough for a fullsize truck that actually does fullsize truck stuff. got the ECM back from the tuner yesterday. nope. not looking anymore. update the engine i finally found was still in the truck & i got them to pull the entire harness with it because i found out about a company in FL, Current Performance Wiring, who'll mod it to fit my exact application. they're working on it right now.
