Would this work with a 2012? I recently read something about 2012s needing some extra harness because it doesn't have the right connectors or something like that.

as far as i know should work just fine. you just need to tap into any power and ground source or run a switch so there should be plenty of options for you to install.

Anything for the cupholders in the Aqua color? I have the Blue Led interior, and was gonna add the footwells next, but I think the Blue will clash with the abl lighting from the factory.

I am thinking of converting everything over to the aqua so nothing clashes.
