you are correct but no one here is talking about loltrue 'positrac', they are just talking about options for the v6, so stay on topic.

I thought I had read that the 2LTs got LSD, is that not correct?

I don't have any idea where you got this info, but it is incorrect. For the V6, the manual comes with a LSD, the auto does not, and there is no other option available. Both the auto and the manual V8 come with an LSD, also with no upgrade option available.

WRONG AGAIN... No company puts a LOCKER in a car! Lockers are optional in TRUCKS, including my HUMMER...

I was a bit surprised to find the V6 auto does have a smaller rear end...

I seriously doubt it's a locking rear end... if you've ever driven one you would know that people would be complain.... it is most like an over sight on group that type up the web page..

also not it says MANUAL TRANSMISSION... no mention of automatic

Go take the cover off your V6 automatic so we can see what you are talking about....

as for the the webpage and that kind of info... was most likely outsourced to some foreign company....

There are other here that KNOW that V6 Auto is an open differential...

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20093

AND CHECK THIS OUT... THIS IS AN OFFICIAL GM SPEC SHEET!

http://www.gm.ca/inm/gmcanada/englis...%20Trifold.pdf

Check this section:

• manual transmission, 6-speed automatic with TAPshift
• Rear-wheel drive
• 52/48 weight distribution
• Four-wheel independent suspension
• Brembo brakes on SS models
Limited-slip differential (V6 manual, all SS models)

There you go! LIMITED-SLIP and notice it specifically call out "V6 manual"!!!

The V6 automatic DOES NOT have a LSD.. it is an open differential!

So what your saying is the V6 DOES come with a LSD ?

That's all I was stating, either it does or it does not... If it's V6 with manual and a LSD than it does come with it.
