Thumbs up Dyno Results -LS3 Muffler Delete

I got a lot more than expected from the muffler delete. Now i am just basing this on the common dyno runs i've seen from stock 2010's of 365-375..

Best Pull was 390.22 RWHP and 403 Tq.

See attached. Video of 1st two pulls available if anyone want to see it, let me know

Wow... that's nice numbers for just a muffler/res delete with a X-pipe.

wow really! i have the same thing done and didnt expect anything like that for a gain. i also have the CAI in now as well, and i am thinkin on going with a underdrive pulley too... should have me around 400 at the rear i hope. might even be more based on this dyno read!

Probably not corrected, that's how they smooth out the graph (also causes your numbers to go down some when they smooth it out)

Since you did no stock base line its hard to know if you gained anything but I would think it would have been minimal

Exactly . I'd only believe this if we saw "SAE" up in the corner and a smoothing of at least "3", and even then I'd ask for a baseline on this same dyno with the same correction and smoothing. People like to post only the numbers of dyno plots and not discuss such important factors and then claim outlandish gains. I'm not saying that is what happened here, more info needed, but MANY tuners on this sight have shown virtually no improvement with muffler deletes, cat-backs (unless 3", but even those are very minimal gains if any), post-cat cut-outs, etc. The restriction is in the cats, not mufflers.

Anyway, for those reading this - please be sure to include the whole story, unlike a lot of manufacturers (who do play the uncorrected vs. corrected gains and include tunes between pulls on parts that dont' need tuned and end up showing an extra 10-12 RWHP gain .. but I digress .. ).

Thanks for posting that barrylnv, was wondering why mine only showed 357 rwhp and 363 torq as compared to all the higher numbers people post. My graph shows SAE with 5 smoothing, not so bad I guess.
