AM lowering springs, normal of not?

hearing the rear? suspension(springs) whenever going over a bump. Is this normal, due to the drop in height(spacing)? Checked seating, bolts, etc..all is OK..using Eibachs, and did not trim the bumpstops..

You'll probably get a better answer in the Suspension/Brakes/Chassis sub-forum.

There was a thread about the rear "clunk" when you put in lowering springs... was like the lowering springs were causing the strut bushing to deflect more causing the top of the strut to hit the body... or something like that... I have the clunk, although it's not as pronounced now... seem the worst when I "twist" the car... like turning up a steep driveway..

It's been happening on my car since I installed lowering springs -- only on the rear driver's side corner. It happens on little bumps, it almost sounds like a rattle.
I haven't gotten around to trying to find if the top of the strut mount is hitting the bottom of the trunk sheetmetal. It's kind of a pain when you have subwoofer and amp sitting right over that part of the trunk. I would hate to have to drop the strut again.
I can see nothing making contact when I check out the visible portions of the suspension back there.

Check out leonardo's thread in the suspension section. Eibachs may not be made right and are making noise/to short for the application and moving a bit. he chanched out to Hotchkiss and no problems.
