Depends on where you get them done but it should be around there when you add in the cost of the gears themselves. Mine were around $800 to install not including the cost of the gears. I had a couple other things done like adding the JRE posi mod and the billet caps. I had to send them off to get them done. Obviously, money was saved because the shop didn't have to take the differential out or put it back in. Regardless of the road you take to get gears, get differential bushings installed at the same time. You will want them sooner or later, might as well get it done in one fell swoop.
