Street Slayer Twin or Centerforce DYAD Twin

Going to buy a new clutch this week. My slave took a shit and I hate the Mcleod RXT. It constantly chatters and is horrible in traffic. It makes me almost want to walk instead.

My car is a 2011 with full bolt ons (LTs, Catback, Nw102etc), 2.8 kenne bell at 12psi, 231/242 FTI cam/ methanol/water injection. She makes roughly low 700s to the tire.

I constantly hear how great the street slayer is but i cannot afford the triple disk as its over 3grand. Will the twin hold my power well?

Haven't heard anything about the dyad from people making similar power with a similar set up.

Any advice from those of you whom have these clutches would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the LT1 series twins that we offer. We can get you one that will work great for you and will be very affordable. Give us a shout and we can go over specifics.

Depends on how quickly you "need" to get a new clutch installed. From all the reviews from folks currently using the street slayer carbon twin, I purchased one myself. However, the wait time just to ship one out is 2+ weeks (not including actual shipping time which may take a week depending on what method you pay for...$55 - $450). I feel confident this clutch will perform as advertised, it just comes down to how much time you have.

Thomas @ Hendrix was great to speak with and has a great deal of product knowledge and experience himself. I strongly recommend you take time to speak w him.

Steve knows his stuff on clutches. That twin disc has a 2 year warranty and a $500 rebuild resets the warranty.

Just like the rest have said. Street Slayer Twin Carbon. I am pushing 750rwhp/640rwtq and that clutch holds it all.

I've got over 92k on my Centerforce. Almost 5 years at over 700 hp and daily driving it. Best clutch I've ever had in a car. Didn't think it would survive this long and it continues to impress me.

something is not right if that RXT chatter's they are an absolute dream to drive, having said that if you are switching than do the centerforce DYAD or the Mantic twin.

I've heard of several RXT's chattering including mine. I sent it in, they rebuilt it, it still chattered.

The vehicle will shudder and shake. Usually when trying to drive normal and slowly release the pedal.
