Z/28 Wheels/Tires on a C6?

Hello,

I know you can add (2014-2015) Camaro Z/28 Wheels and Tires to any 5th Gen Camaro, can you do the same with the 6th Gen Camaro?

Thanks,

DM

Why would you consider using Camaro wheels/tires on a Corvette? I am sure there is a good reason, I just can not figure what the reason could be.

I doubt the Camaro wheels will fit a Corvette. They're probably different offsets.

There's a few on here who have although I'm not sure if it's as easy a straight swap, I would hope so though.

I got them for mine. If you stick with tires that are around the same height as stock then you will be fine. I have 305/35's on the back and it is very snug, had to move the ebrake line, the tire would have rubbed through it. If I went with 305/30's then it wouldn't have been an issue, I just need all seasons and they don't offer those in a 30.

The offsets are not the same between the camaro and Vette. I wish they did so we would have some cheaper 19" options

Thanks for the responses mjwill25 and Techn9cian805. I think however both of you guys are talking about the MRR M228 fake Z/28 look-alike wheels. I'm asking about genuine OEM Z/28 wheels. The reason I ask is because the backspacing and size of the Z/28 wheels allow the use of 19" tires and a square 305's setup up. I have a set that I use on my 5th gen ZL1 now. With the new 2017 ZL1 a just a few months away, I want to know if I'd be able to use my OEM Z/28 wheels and tires on a new car, should I be able to get one. I track my car often and have the Z/28 wheels and tires for that purpose exclusively. I just want to be sure they are compatible with the new generation of Camaro's.

Thanks for any feedback you may have.

They will work on the 6th gen. They will protrude a bit like they would on a 5th gen without the Z/28 wheel flare extensions.

Tire swap

A guy that works with me, got some 6th gen tires and put them on his 5th gen LS to replace the steel wheels. He had to swap out the sensors in the tires as well, because the sensor for the 5th gen is different than the 6th. Other than that they worked.

Hope this helps.
