Ceramic pads have less performance than stock with less dusting. A cover will block airflow and cause heat issues. You either need to coat the wheels with a ceramic wheel coating, or a sealant. Both will help make them slicker and easier to clean. Stay away from those over the counter spray on from meguires, or armor all. Both are a huge headache to remove when they begin to fail.

Try one of these.

Every car forum you go to has the " Too much brake Dust" thread.

This is not a problem just a fact of life.

We just need to get better at keeping it clean.

My 2011 2LT produced like zero brake dust, this car though, man brake dust like crazy! Not any issue because I meticulously clean my wheels every wash, but it is a big difference. I need to coat my wheels. When it finally gets warm I plan on doing a paint correction and getting everything coated.

My polished factory wheels collected brake dust like crazy when the car was new. Now with
40,000 miles I get much less dust for some reason. My summer factory chrome wheels are great.
Brake dust doesn't stick to them at all.

Like mentioned keep a good coat of protection like a sealant on your wheels so the brake dust won't stick as bad and do regular washing.
