well heck i guess these cars are just ment to get traction cuz even with both traction lights on is still just chirps a few times and takes off when i dump it at 5 grand. I guess iam too old school iam used to boiling the tires when i would dump the clutch and that was in a car with maybe 320hp.

fuse pull candidate!!!

do a fuse pull and make sure youre running 93 octane in it.

but as somebody else said, traction control has to be off to light em,

otherwise you will get just a small squeal then it takes over.

if youre launching at 5000rpm and not getting the tires to SMOKE then somethings wrong.

because with TC off my manual will light em up with no problem letting out the clutch barely above idle and punching it.

Yes the M6 cars have tourqe management, it's on the motor side, a tune will take care of it. Jannetty tumed my car and he takes some of the tourqe management out, it's a differant car with some removed.

no, you pull the #5 and #20 fuse in the fuse box and let it sit with them out preferably overnight, then put them back in.

if the car has ever been run with 87 octane this needs to be done,

when low octane is run in it the computer switches to the low octane fuel tables,

and just running high octane gas wont make it switch back, you have to reset it by doing the fuse pull.

but even if it needs the fuse pull badly i still dont see how it wont smoke the tires off if you dump the clutch at 5 grand

The 5/20 Fuse pull is not an issue anymore... and yes there is some torque managment that can be tuned out of the M6.

BTW... the auto trans is a "6 Speed" too...
