I need help/advice in selecting a reliable shop to tint the windows on Elvis in Tyler, wanted to drop car and wait on it and be sure Elvis is safe from paint dents/scratches.
Hoping someone can recommend a shop that respects our kind of cars.
I used Mitch's on SE Loop. No scratches, but puddles of water in the door handle pulls and the trunk (under the 2 rear speakers). Had to wash/wipe all the panels under all the windows 'cause they didn't. That's my 2 cents.

If we start getting more regular members from the Longview area that maybe a possibility.

Our next meetup will be on the 29th at 4:00pm. In the Target/Jack in the Box parking lot.

None of us get to Longview that much, so come on out and let us know about some good meet up spots in the area.

Maybe I will have this rats nest figured out and can show up. Waiting on parts and having to engineer something that was supposed to be "plug and play" is frustrating to say the least.

It really makes me wish I had sharks with friggin laser beams at times.

A "direct fit" Navigation/DVD/Camera and related HVAC control panel from Alpine. Paid a premium so I wouldn't have to engineer it myself. Spent 4.5hours installing it the first time and it just didn't sound right, no bass. Call Crutchfield and after finally talking to the right person it turns out that it won't work correctly despite what their computer tells them with the Boston Acoustics system as it has built in amps. If you have been behind the radio you will already know that there is zero extra space. Crutchfield tells me I have to add another box to control my factory amps. I have to cram 6lbs of shit into a 3lb hole and its been an absolute PITA. I think I finally have all my wires soldered, camera run and extra parts installed to make everything work. Now I get to put everything back together and pray it all works when done for the 2nd time.

Nick I would do 50 CAI installs over ever doing this again...seriously. When you do your CAI you will laugh at how easy it will be, if you want I am working in the garage all day it looks like so bring it by.

Installed and still not really happy with the bass unless you turn it up.
