Ruby, I really appreciate you choosing our system. You will not be disappointed.

To clarify something mentioned earlier, we have nothing against X-pipes other than the increased pitch it emits and the drone it promotes with the V6. We feel our H-pipe design will lower the pitch and decrease cabin drone considerably without sacrificing power.

Get that system on there Ruby and hit the load pedal. Let us know what you think. Thanks.

Nick

Interesting comment.

Because I found that it did the opposite. It took care of the loud annoying RASP and eliminated 95% of the drone I was having with my set-up.

I can't wait to hear what Ruby thinks of the H-pipe set-up. Always glad to see there are other items out there to help our V6 systems.

I will add this information to the performance sticky thread.

I think they may be talking about traditional x pipes, ie... a tru-x.

Okay, It may be a little while until I get it installed. My bonus this quarter is not looking great & with the added expense of the IPF tune plus the installation, I may need to wait for Christmas monies. But here is a pic of Ruby checking out her Christmas present.......................to be opened later. We shall see about the sound soon enough. I hope it is as bad azz as Nick says. AND those V8 guys in my club better be on their p's & q's come our Spring drag race event.

Congrats Janice and welcome to the ARH club.
Nick and ARH are top notch and will certainly take care of you, as they have me.

New headers & a new system from ARH for Ruby

Ruby you are gonna love the power that the long tube headers give you. I installed long tubes and high flow cats and I got the IPF tune and my LLT runs awesome! I did get metal core high flow cats not ceramic core cats and I have not gotten a check engine light, nor did my tuner tune out the rear O2 sensors. I have Flowmaster axelback exhaust and I was getting rasp and drone at 2000 rpm so I purchased the Magnaflow resonated X-pipe and it sounds awesome now. Keep us posted when you get everything installed, and get ready for that permagrin!
