Welcome to the family!! Congrats on your new 2016 Camaro SS. Interesting that you went away from the Roush Mustang. I hope you don't mind me asking why did you do that?

Congratulations on you new Camaro! Hope you enjoy it! What options did you get? Auto/Manual? Dual Mode Exhaust? Magnetic Ride Control?

Have you had a chance to get her out on a twisty road yet? I have only test driven one once, but I probably will order in the next month or two.

I had my Mustang for about 8 months... one of the big things I really hated about it, and other Mustang owners had too, is some of the body panels didnt line up. For instance the drivers side door didnt line up so when you washed the car, sometimes water would get inside. The Ford dealer that I got my car was a butt too, I got my mustang off the showroom floor. The day I got it I noticed a huge chip on two of the wheels, buy Ford denied the claim to fix it. Just left a sour taste in my mouth. There were other minor things too, I think most of it came down to just wanting a different car...

As far as visibility, the Mustang was great, the Camaro not as much... but I like the fact that I sit "down" in the Camaro so I feel lower in the car which I personally like. Rear window visibility is almost non-existent... lol

So my Camaro, its a V8 (obviously lol), Manual, sunroof, upgraded HD display w\nav, dual mode exhaust. Love the quad exhaust but wanting to remove the butterfly's so its never toned down. On a side note, it was like a finding a needle in a haystack finding a 2SS manual here in Dallas\Fort Worth!

Have not had a chance to really get on it yet, most I have driven it is to work and back. Trying to break in the engine some before I stomp on it.

You traded an 8mo old Roush for a '16 SS? Have you received your banishment notice from the Ford boards yet? I thought I felt a disturbance in the Force earlier.

Ouch, that's a terrible experience. I never liked how high up Mustangs sit either. As for the exhaust tone down, pull the fuse for NPP. Open all the time

OP, congrats on the new car.

Question though, didn't you have a lot of negative equity (after the trade-in) (what you owe) on the 2015 mustang? Did you just pay it off, or carry it over to your Camaro purchase, thus making your payments a little bigger?

When I got my Mustang, I put down 7k, and paid additional principle on every payment, so when I traded, I was "only" upside-down 2k
