M&H or Hoosier bias ply fronts with MT Et street R on the rear
How do M&H or Hoosier bias ply front runners mix with the MT ET street R which are a radial construction just down the 1/4 mile. I will never run the set up on the street. My car traps 120-122 and with the OE stock front wheel/tire it tracks straight.

I would run the MT Bias up front and Rs in the rear. I have run the MH and they are fine also, ran them on my C7. I've run the Hoosiers but don't like the way they balloon out on the wheels. Wouldn't recommend them. I run the 27.5x4-17 M/T, they balanced well and only weigh 12 lbs.

I will say, I ran a radial up front and Bias ply rear and it was a nightmare. Rear was walking all around. Not sure how the opposite way would go with Radial in the rear and bias upfront. For me after that, I always ran Radials all the way around.

Ron is right, many have tried what he did and it's unstable. I ran Bias on my 16 for a few year with Radial on the back and no issues. The reason I ran the Bia on the front was the weight difference in the bias and radial is well over 12 lbs each and that makes a difference on weight transfer and rolling mass.

Hey Layinlo, sent a note out to Jannetty racing my tuner about adding a few degrees of timing up to about 3500 rpm and leave the remainder of the tune alone and he said he would not unless he sees some data. Personally I feel adding a few degrees of timing starting at 1500 up to 3500 shouldnt hurt anything or cause detonation considering he tunes conservatively. Can that be done ? or am I wishful thinking

Thank you. The 17 inch front wheels have no problem clearing the brakes , that is news to me. They are a 120 bolt pattern and not a 120.6 correct. BTW, your current set up rear Hoosiers are radials I assume.
