I hope it doesn't get the LSA engine .. I want fully forged ... doesn't have to be called an LS9 or put LS9 power out, but I want something that is ready for people to really up the boost ...

My original thinking was to wait for the Z/28, I obviously changed my mind and ordered the IBM blue car sitting in the garage. When the time comes for more power it's either the Maggie or a day or two in Livernois Motors shop down in Dearborn... in the mean time I still get to drive a very cool car that has enough horsepower to challenge most everything I will see on a day to day basis. Although the car only has 120 miles in two months and 70 of that from driving down to Plymouth to have the 3M invisible bra installed... come on Michigan weather, straighten up!

What are you talking about? Officially, it's getting a flux capacitor. 0-88 mph in 3.9

Well of course you have to get to 88MPH. How else would you travel through time?

I doubt GM will build a Z28 that costs $65,000? My guess is they will want to stay below $50,000 MSRP loaded.

A nicely equipped GT500 is almost $56K MSRP. I have a feeling a loaded Z will be at or slightly above that price point.

What gives you the impression that the Z is cheaper? I take it you got into camaros around the 4th gen body style?

This thread is full of FAIL. and then some reasonable heads step it. . .(Mindz)lol.

it's coming, all indications point to the LSA in the CTS-V. but since nothings confirmed who knows could be some special engine running off a battery. . .who knows. but the rumor mill and hints point to the LSA. the LSA is only 7k more then the LS3. granted more additions would be had to the car but the 34k (2SS) starting price plus 7k...41k just to throw the LSA in it with out R&D+addition bracing/suspension work. granted that's also taking the profit margin for the SS, crate engine LSA, and crate engine ls3 etc. so in reality the cost would be below 40k for just throwing the engine in the SS. but you still have to add in the other stuff I said and then tack on a profit margin. so I'm still looking for the price to be around $50k. slight premium over the GT500.
