It won't be bad if you keep a clean driving record and have a v6. Insurance wasn't bad at first but, then i rolled my mom's truck on its side and that's where insurance got ridiculous. I'm 18 now but i bought my Camaro when i was 16(almost 17.)

Check autotrader.com. That's how I found my ss. You could try craigslist, but I have heard a few horror stories when looking at the car and its title (owner says never wrecked/flooded/etc but has a salvaged title.

You can watch a safety video for some insurances. That will lower it down more, but still will be pricey

At 15 with a 94 camaro V6 I was paying $94 a month for Liability. At 18 (19 in another week) I pay $189 a month for full coverage on my 01 SS
You're not going to escape ridiculous insurance prices with a Camaro until you get older. It's just a fact of life

When I was 16 I was going to buy a 2002 z28 from don hall in Ashland ky and to be honest with you I didnt buy because insurance was higher than the payment but now I'm 21 and have a 2000 ss with full coverage and a pickup and pay 159 a month so I would try to buy a v6 then upgrade to a v8

I'm getting old. 100/300/100 and all the uninsured/underinsured coverage one can get with a 500 deductible, I'm paying 184. Of course, that's on an 01 Camaro SS, 02 Dodge Stratus and an 05 Dodge Durango. Oh, in Las Vegas NV. King of drinking and driving in the USofA.

Nice this for $435 a year I get the following -unlimited miles -Agreed value vs. Market Value (Agreed value of $35k, Market Value $12.5k) -no deductible -500k collision/liability The only two stipulations are 1. I have a reliable daily driver 2. It's not my daily driver

Just wondering, why did you agree on the 35k and not a lower dollar amount? Do you have a lot of mods? Are they ok with mods?
