Any drone with LT headers (L99)?

Thinking of finally getting longtubes and wanted to know if anyone has experienced any type of drone or other noised that may be annoying on long drives? I have a Roto-Fab CAI and a Corsa cat back. Thanks!

I also have an L99 and I am considering LT's. From what I have read, any drone is a result of the cat back system and not the headers. My plan is to install LT's with the stock exhaust. Drone and the AFM should not be an issue...I hope.

I am haivng AFM tuned out this week when my LT headers and catback exhaust are installed.

Oh, and I have also heard that most folks find the drone is heard as a result of the exhaust. I hope I'm not making a mistake by putting in a new exhaust with the headers this week. I ordered the Borla touring exhaust to help cut down on the drone.

I have ARH LTs with ARH HF Cats and Corsa Catback... you will experience zero drone.

I've had Corsa on since last June and put the headers on about a month ago. Drove all the way to C5 Fest and got a couple thousand miles on now. Corsa seems a bit tame until you put LTs on. It's freakin loud now but cruises just like stock.

Here's a Video...

Basically the louder you go the more you will hear AFM... adding headers to catback will definitely increase the AFM drone. Borla will just plain get you drone whether you have AFM turned off or not, but it does sound good.

If you are putting on headers then you will be tuning so turn off AFM in all modes except 5th & 6th gear in D only. This works well.

I have Kooks LT headers and the LS3 corsa (no resonators) on my L99. I tuned out AFM and its a beast with throttle and sounds quiet at cruise. Zero problems and sounds perfect!

Interesting you went w/ the LS3 version... Sounds like a good idea... I sort of liked the idea of X-pipe and resonator thinking it would be a bit tamer but it's a beast too. Gotta love that no drone Corsa.
