I guess I don't understand......When I select Manual, and start out in first gear, I can redline it and upshift through each gear using the paddles, as well as down shift back down through the gears. I can even downshift 2 gears, speed permitting.

What makes this different from the LT ??

What makes this different from the LT ??

the tap shift in the 2LS only allows you to select the highest gear the car will shift in to. if you are at a stop and put yours to 2, your car will start in first gear, shift to second and then stay in second. In an LT if you put it on 2, you start in second gear. in the LT you are really choosing what gear the car is in, in the 2LS you are only telling it the max gear you want it to be in.
