AC not cold??

How is everyone's AC. Mine is not cold at all. Just thought I would see what everyone else thinks about theirs before I take it to the dealer. I know our Grand Prix and Avalanche will run you out of them they get so cold.

Mine blows nice and cold. There's been a problem with some, where the condensate line is pinched by the drain grommet above the transmission, the condensate builds up in the line and effects the efficiency of the A/C. There is a dealer bulletin on this. When you shut the car down after using the a/c, is there a puddle of condensate water on the ground under the middle section of the car? If not, the line maybe pinched and effecting the a/c. If you have the puddle and it's draining properly, not sure what it could be...either way, the dealer needs to check it out.

i had this problem with mine when i had her. i was on a 5-hour trip and after about 3 hours it just stopped blowing cold, but the fan was still blowing. i turned it off and tried turning it back on after another hour and same thing. it did work right again later on that night after the car had been off. never had the chance to take her to the dealer because she died that night for good.

i put 3000 miles on mine in 7 days. My air would stop cooling if we drove over 4 hrs strait. the cold or the fan seemed like they could not keep up. It has not don that since then but we only are takeing it on short drives since the trip. and the dealership said it needs to be doing it when we bring it in. Also just this weekend everything on my central controle panel dosn't work at night. what ever the settings were durring the day is what they are at night. the ac is stuck the vol. on radio nothing lights up or adjusts. I have an apt. tomarow with the service dep. I still love this car, despite the querks.

Had some troubles with mine about 2 weeks ago that the dealer took care of. On long trips, the A.C. blower would become slower and slower to the point where the blower wasn't moving any air at all. Also, the air wasn't cool at all. I figured it was the drainage tube being blocked... Nope, the system was low on refrigerant and all works good now..

Is the snow flake button pressed? I'm not going to say who, but someone didn't have their's pressed all day and he thought the AC went out. *cough*

Bad compressor?

My A/C has been intermittent since I bought my car 2 weeks ago. Seems to be worse after acceleration. I took it to the dealer and they say I need a new compressor! I thought I already had a new compressor. What gives? Now I am driving a Saturn for a week while they fix my car! This after I spent the last several weeks countering my friends' "government motors" jokes. Anybody else had to replace a compressor?:(

It used to have a puddle under it after shutting it off. I have not noticed one lately. Also Yes I did have the snowflake button on.

I guess I will schedule an appointment and get it looked at. Thanks for all the input.

Heres my issue. Just purchased 2010 camro v6. Even with the snowflake button on the cold air is intermidiate. I hear the air compressor kicking on and off which i know is normal, but I dont beleive when the air compressor kicks off that i am supposed to feel a temperature drop of about 10 degrees. Keep in mind the snowflake button is always on and its doing this. Both fans are working, i looked at that today. I brought it into the dealer they say they dont feel a problem. Anyone have something similar to this issue?
