I know the guy with the challenger and the shop that did the upgrades on it. Dude has minimum 30k in that car and the shop doing the work is top notch.
I think this was a classic example of a driver just being outmatched from a skill set standpoint. I had a srt with a vortech @ 6 psi and could run mid to low 12s all day and I am the definition of amature... With drivers being equal, i think that particular challenger has a chance on the drag strip against that particular camaro but after that, it's camaro all the way. |

What I have defended is: That he may have had a bad day driving That the car would have performed much better with tires that could handle the power That yes, the Challenger ran poor times. You brought the fight personally to me by essentially implying that I am synonymous with failure (IE: FAIL). But whatever, I'm beyond done with this fight. The Camaro ran well, the Challenger didnt. End of story, well done Camaro5 driver for representing the Camaro community well! |

You realize the Challenger driver blew turbos, don't you? Or that's right, that's something ForumWarz probably doesn't want you to know.

Nice Job Erik! Clean sweep. The chally did look sweet though.
It was a pleasure meeting you at the fest this year, and riding shotgun with Aaron while he was chasing you was an experience. You guys have no fear and really do push the car to its limits. Nice driving! |

Congrats on the win Erik; car definitely looked awesome out there and sounded great as well.
Looks like my episode is next week but I didn't do near as well on the autocross portion compared to you. That is partially to blame on allseason 235 pirellis but mostly lack of driving experience.

Even on street tires that car should have done better than 13.7, thats VERY close to stock times if Im correct. He could have just done a roll out and short shifted 1st and 2nd and run dramatically better times. Agreed, I dont know why he cant just admit this dude isnt a very good driver at all... |
