Installed my ******** box, WOW (added pics)......

Went with the big ******** box that fits on driver's side that is the one that requires cutting the carpet, and I cannot believe how hard it hits. And here is an interesting side note, you don't have to cut your carpet. I will take pics later and show you, if you just remove that panel of carpet then you don't even notice it's missing. And one day if you decide to sell the car, you can put it back in.

This is what I installed:

******** large driver's side enclosure cut for 12"
Punch P3D212 2-ohm DVC 12" Sub
Rockford Fosgate 5002
Power Acoustic 1.5F Capacitor
******** amp harness
******** groundloop isolator

This setup absolutely SLAMS. It easily out-hits my two 10"s I had in my trunk in my Charger, and if you drop the back seat it's insane. Thanks Steve for everything!

No trunk rattle, but I am getting a rather annoying rattle from the sliders on the mirrors on the flip down sun visors of all random places. Still looking for a fix with that.

Also, my entire trunk is free and open, so much nicer than having a big box back there. I think you would be happy with the sound, I don't see how anyone couldn't be.

Amp and cap are both mounted on the back of the rear seat. Makes for easy adjustments by just folding down the seat. And the back of the seat is black carpeting, so the holes are invisible if I were to ever remove the amp. I don't mind posting what I spent.

******** large driver's side enclosure cut for 12" - $129
Punch P3D212 2-ohm DVC 12" Sub - $125
Rockford Fosgate 5002 - $200
Power Acoustic 1.5F Capacitor - $30
******** amp harness - $69
******** groundloop isolator - $6

******** groundloop isolator???

He just removed the side panel carpet, instead of cutting it. I did the same thing with mine. You barely notice it, and only when you are looking for it and looking at a particular angle in the trunk.

This is everything installed. As you can see, you can't really notice the carpet is missing behind the box due to how big it is. If you stick your head in the trunk, you could tell if you looked between the end of the box and the amp, but who does that? I think it's a small price to pay to preserve my carpet.

This is the panel of carpet you remove:

The 5002 is my amp, the capacitor is an optional piece of equipment that keeps a more steady supply of power to your amp and cuts down on lights dimming, and the groundloop isolator just cleans up any "pop" noise some feedback in the wiring can cause. The amp obviously is not optional, but the capacitor and isolator are.
